Nail Stamping
I tried nail stamping for the first time with the stuff I got from Born Pretty Store last month. I definitely need more practice. My stamper is super squishy, not sure if that’s part of the issue or not. I was also using white polish and the stamper is also white so it just blended right in. Got any tips for me? Leave them in the comments. #nailart #nailstagram #nailstamping from Instagram: http://ift.tt/1K2deX4

New Nail Art Supplies
Born Pretty Store had a Black Friday special where you could buy a $10 gift card for $2. So for $7.63 ($5.63 was my order total + the $2 for the gc) I got $15.63 worth of stuff. And I finally got the nail stamping stuff I’d been wanting to try. I got 3 small brushes to use for cleaning off polish. I might end up using one of them for painting though (like art painting on paper/canvas). I picked out 8 stamping plates, a stamper & scraper, a mystery bag and a holder for the stamping plates. The picture for the holder shows both the round and octagon…

Zoya Mystery Mini Trio and More Review
About a month ago Zoya had a special where if you ordered 3 full size bottles you got 3 mystery mini shades for free and just paid $15 for shipping. That was a really good deal. But then they said if purchased $25 in products, you got the mystery trio and free shipping. That was an even better deal. So I did that and got 6 full size bottles, plus the mini trio for $27. Starting with my left hand pinky finger… Anais. It’s black, basic black with very little sparkle. Not a bad color, just “plain”. It was one of the mystery trio colors, but to buy it in…

Dotting Tool Nail Art
I posted a picture on Instagram a few weeks ago, but didn’t make a post, that I’d gotten a set of dotting tools (finally! lol) along with some other items. I’ve used the dotting tools once already and my nails came out ok. I took pictures, but never posted them. Why? I actually just forgot. But here are those pictures… And here is my second attempt. I started off with 3 coats of Zoya Cole. I let it dry and then starting placing dots with Zoya Renee. After those dots dried, I started again with LA Colors Atomic, then added NYC Empire State Blue. Lastly I added very small dots with LA…

Bokeh-ish Nail Art
After seeing cutepolish’s video for Bokeh Nail Art I decided to try it myself. They didn’t come out exactly the same, but I was already sure it wouldn’t because I used white nail polish instead of paint and q-tips instead of makeup sponges. Just like in cutepolish’s video I painted my nails white (I did 2 coats) then used a q-tip to dap on spots of color randomly around the nail. I just used the polish brush to put a drop on the q-tip. You can see from the picture above I used one side for the green and the other side for both the purple and the blue.…
