Saturday Six

1. What’s the best part about where you live?
I like that it’s in a central location for various places. I’m about 75 miles east of San Francisco, 65 miles South of Sacramento, 6 hours from DisneyLand, 9 hours from Las Vegas, and about 3 hours from both Yosemite National Park and Lake Tahoe. Not that I’m always going to any of these places, but I’m kinda in the middle of it all.

2. What can we do about so-called Christians who really aren’t? At least, they don’t look like they’ve ever read the Gospels. At least, not the Gospels you and I seem to have read.
No comment other than I knew someone in high school who used to call themself “a good little Christian”, but they also smoked (cigarettes and weed) and drank. I’m non-religious, but it drove me nuts that this person would call themselves that considering all the things they did.

3. Where did you grow up?
I was born Michigan and lived there until I was 8. I then moved to Kentucky for about a year, then to Ohio for 9 months, then back to Kentucky (to the same house even as it had never sold). When I was 14 my family and I moved out here to California. We’ve been out here for 18 years now.

4. What do you like to do in your spare time?
Read, watch tv/movies, go online (Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, etc).

5. If you could visit anywhere in the world where would you go?
There are a ton of places I’d love to visit someday; Australia, Greece, Italy, Paris, London.

6. What made you decide to start your blog? An inspiration, a need to empty your head, a complaint of something, or something entirely different?
Just to have an online journal to vent and talk about my day.
