Blogging Challenge… Day 2

Day 2: Nicknames.

Most people tend to call me Jules. I don’t tell or ask people to call me this, they just do it. I like the nickname. Just don’t call me Julia. I hate that name. When I was younger, the first few years I was in school the teachers, admins, etc always thought my name was Julia at the beginning of the school year. I have no idea why. My uncle even thought my name was Julia when I was born. NO!

Can I also say that I tend to nickname people, like celebrities, in my head? I don’t think I’d ever call any of them these names in person, it’s just what pops into my head when I see pictures or see stories about them. Like Britney Spears is “Brit Brit”. Paris Hilton is “Pear Pear”. Justin Timberlake is “JuJu”. Basically I just shorten their names into something that resembles their name, but shorter.
