When you’re having trouble staying awake, what are some things you do to make sure you don’t drift off to sleep?
Nothing. Since I don’t have a job if I get super sleepy during the day i’ve been letting myself take a nap. I generally set the alarm for just a half hour, but i’ve napped as long as 2 hours on some days.

What’s most likely to cause you a prolonged period of not enough sleep?
Having to be up at an earlier time than normal. I’ll be so worried that I won’t wake up that I end up tossing and turning all night.

When you’re going through a prolonged period of not enough sleep, what parts of your daily routine are likely to change, and how?
For right now I wouldn’t change anything in my routine. I don’t have anywhere to be on a normal day so I’m not gonna stress about how my sleep is. If I was working, I would look at how much caffeine I was drinking what time I was going to bed and what I was doing the few hours before bed.

Who in your life seems regularly to have not enough sleep?
My mom. She’s always telling me how tired she is and how many naps she takes during the day (average of 2).

In what ways does your personality change when you go through a prolonged period of not enough sleep?
If it was just over 1 day were I was up for like 24-36 hours (it happened a lot when I was younger) I would just get really giggly the more I was awake. But if I went a few days with really bad sleep, I would end up really cranky.
